How to tie social media to your newsletter strategy

Property Management Newsletters

Aliasak,

Okay, here's an obvious statement: the more you can connect with a client or prospect, the more likely they are to continue using your services and recommend you to others. Obvious, right?

But here's the tricky part. How do you (a busy property manager) find the time to connect on a more personal basis with your contacts?

Ahh . . . that is where the beauty of email newsletters comes into play again. If you have a Facebook page, Twitter account, videos on YouTube, or engage in any other form of social media, you can create closer connections with your contacts. Here are some ideas:

  • Invite your contacts to become your "friends".
  • Hold a drawing (for a gift card) for those who "like" you on Facebook.
  • Host a contest for the person who can offer you the best testimonial and post it on YouTube.

None of this is going to take extra effort. You're already putting your newsletter together. Simply include the invitation to connect online and let your contacts do the rest. You can bet their friends and family members will take notice. And, if they have property management needs, they'll become interested in you

Sincerely,
