Clueless about what to put in your newsletter?

Property Management Newsletters

Aliasak,

What's the number one reason email newsletters never get out the door? Content.

Many property managers struggle with what to write. They sit at the computer for hours before finally giving up in frustration.

Here's one secret you ought to know: write about anything.

Okay maybe, that didn't help someone who's still sitting in front of a blank page. Let me be a little more specific:

Choose an educational topic.
For some reason, we thirst for new information. And you have all kinds of knowledge that your clients and prospects don't have. Write an article about the best kind of home insurance, safety tips (like checking smoke detectors regularly), how the housing marketing has affected rental prices, what to do when you leave on vacation, etc. It doesn't matter what you choose as long as you provide value in your article.

Reinforce the value of your services.
Every once in a while, it's okay to remind clients (and inform prospects) why your services are so great. Include a client story. Load your newsletter with testimonials. Talk about a unique service you offer that no one else does. Let them know when your company wins an award. That's good stuff.

Choose something that's on your mind.
Part of building a relationship is letting your contacts get to know you. Its okay to share personal stories, talk about a recent trip you've been on, or simply tell a joke (just keep it in good taste).

Still can't think of anything to write?

Then let someone else do it for you. Your time is better spent elsewhere. LandlordSource is a company that writes and sells articles to property managers just like you. Take a minute to check out the article selection.

Sincerely,
