How newsletters add to your success

Property Management Newsletters

Aliasak,

"All he did was send us some small tip - cookie recipes at Christmas, safety tips in January, weather warnings in February, and garden suggestions in March. It wasn't much, but we'll never forget who he is and we've already sent him some business."

This quote is from a homeowner in Northern Utah and perfectly illustrates why all property management companies could benefit from a newsletter.

You see, newsletters aren't simply "the thing to do." They are an effective way of keeping in touch with homeowners and tenants. With frequent communication, you're making sure your name is top of mind. Then . . . when those same individuals are speaking with friends and family about property management needs, guess who they're going to refer - You!

Would they refer you even if you didn't send a newsletter? Maybe. But it's a lot less likely. Unless you give your homeowners and tenants a chance to build a relationship with you, they have no reason to be loyal.

Bare minimum, you should be sending out a newsletter at least once a quarter. That doesn't require much effort on your part...but it could mean the difference between doing so-so and adding more revenue to your bottom line.

In the next email, we'll start giving you suggestions about how to set up a newsletter for your company. Stay tuned to receive tips about design, content, and delivery method (email and web) over the next couple of weeks.

Sincerely,

Dee Allomong
